Anime India Delhi 2026 Announced: Kakashi VA to Make an Appearance

Anime India Delhi 2026 is set for June 6-7, 2026, at Yashobhoomi, featuring Japanese voice actor Kazuhiko Inoue (Kakashi VA) as a special guest. This marks Delhi's first edition, part of Anime India's nationwide expansion following Mumbai 2025 and Kolkata 2026. Organizers aim to broaden programming with diverse Japanese games, gaming activations, creator-focused activities, tabletop/card games, and esports, while promoting Indian stories globally. Anime India Delhi 2026 is scheduled for June 6-7, 2026, at the Yashobhoomi convention center, marking its inaugural Delhi edition as part of Anime India’s ongoing national expansion. A major highlight will be the appearance of Japanese voice actor Kazuhiko Inoue, renowned for his roles as Kakashi Hatake in Naruto and Monkey D. Dragon in One Piece, aiming to connect Japanese creators directly with Indian fans. This event follows successful editions in Mumbai (2025) and Kolkata (February 2026), demonstrating Anime India’s commitment to building a nationwide presence.Mishal Wanvari, Director of AnimationXpress, and Neha Singhal Mehta, COO and co-founder, conveyed their vision for the convention’s growth, stressing that “Indian stories will travel the world” and fostering a domestic creator ecosystem. The Delhi edition promises expanded programming, including a broader selection of Japanese games, from simulation and adventure to MMORPGs, moving beyond initial anime-specific titles. Organizers are also exploring tabletop and card game integrations alongside popular existing games like Street Fighter and Pokémon Legends. Furthermore, the event will increase gaming activations, creator-focused activities, and feature a significant esports presence, potentially spanning titles like BGMI, catering specifically to a Gen Z audience.
