The company saw robust performance in chemicals, strategic expansions like Epichlorohydrin, and highest-ever research wheat seed sales, reaffirming its strategic focus amid a volatile global environment.

DCM Shriram Ltd. reported its financial results for Q3 FY26, showcasing operational resilience and growth across its diversified business segments. The company posted net revenues of ₹3,811 crore, PBDIT of ₹560 crore, and PAT of ₹213 crore. Net revenue increased by 13% compared to Q3 FY25, and PBDIT rose by 4%. However, PAT saw a 19% decline, primarily attributed to a one-time exceptional charge of ₹55 crore from new labour code implementation. Strong top-line growth was observed across all major business lines: Chemicals led with a 30% increase, supported by new projects including Hydrogen Peroxide, Aluminium Chloride, Epichlorohydrin, and an epoxy acquisition. Sugar and Ethanol grew by 15%, benefiting from higher sugar prices and improved volumes, despite industry challenges like revised domestic production estimates and increased State Advised Price (SAP). Fenesta Building Systems expanded its market position with a 28% revenue increase, while Shriram Farm Solutions reported a 7% revenue increase, achieving its highest-ever quarterly sales of research wheat seed. Strategically, DCM Shriram continued its shift towards downstream and value-added chemical products, with the Epichlorohydrin facility gaining market acceptance. The recent anti-dumping duties on liquid epoxy resins are expected to accelerate the turnaround of the epoxy business. The company also completed an epoxy plant acquisition and partially commissioned the greenfield Epichlorohydrin plant, with several other projects underway to enhance backward and forward integration and support long-term growth priorities.
