Inaugurated in New Delhi, this initiative underscores both companies' long-term commitment to India's ambitious recycling goals and its evolving regulatory landscape. India's projected fivefold increase in plastic consumption by 2060, coupled with government-mandated circular economy goals like stricter Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and rising recycling quotas (60% by 2029), fuels a critical demand for advanced recycling solutions.EREMA India consolidates EREMA’s extrusion technologies with Lindner Washtech’s washing systems, offering integrated and coordinated process chains. This enables Indian recyclers to produce high-quality recyclates, meeting stringent standards including international food-contact compliance. The subsidiary offers specialized PET recycling technologies for superior color values and optimized polymer properties, and for polyolefins, features INTAREMA® extrusion systems with ReFresher modules to remove odors and ensure premium output.
