The 71,000-square-foot facility, near Electronics City, will house up to 600 employees, establishing Bengaluru as a crucial hub for Festo’s global operations.The Bengaluru GCC is designed as a center of excellence, focusing on advanced engineering, digital solutions, software development, data analytics, global process optimization, and operational excellence. This consolidation aims to drive innovation, streamline international processes, and deliver scalable digital solutions globally. The centre will also focus on upskilling employees and fostering collaboration within India’s strong technology and engineering talent ecosystem.Ravi Sastry, MD of Festo India, highlighted the GCC's alignment with the company’s vision of “automation for a sustainable future,” contributing to global R&D and leveraging India's technological expertise. Alok Maheshwari, Head of GCC, noted India’s evolution into a strategic innovation partner, with plans to double Festo’s India team, reflecting confidence in the nation's potential.
