India and the UAE are expanding their strategic partnership to jointly access African and Eurasian markets. UAE President Md Bin Zayed's visit to New Delhi focused on strengthening defense and economic ties, with a significant emphasis on connecting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Initiatives like Bharat Mart and Bharat-Africa Setu are planned to promote MSME products across these key regions, aiming to boost bilateral trade and foster economic integration.

India and the United Arab Emirates are strategically enhancing their bilateral cooperation, specifically targeting economic expansion into the lucrative African and Eurasian markets. This significant development was a key outcome of UAE President Md Bin Zayed's recent visit to New Delhi, where discussions centered on solidifying defense collaborations and deepening economic ties between the two nations. A core component of this joint strategy is the commitment to empower and integrate micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from both countries into broader regional value chains. To facilitate this, new initiatives are being introduced. 'Bharat Mart' aims to serve as a major platform for showcasing Indian products, while 'Bharat-Africa Setu' is designed to establish a robust framework for connecting Indian and African businesses. These programs are specifically engineered to promote MSME products and services, enabling them to penetrate new markets and fostering cross-regional trade and collaboration. The partnership is expected to drive economic diversification, unlock new growth opportunities for both India and the UAE, and strengthen their respective footprints in these strategically important global regions, marking a proactive approach to international trade and development.
