Steamhouse India Ltd, recognized as a pioneer in the community boiler sector, has taken a significant step towards its public listing by filing its Updated Draft Red Herring Prospectus I (UDRHP I) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). This regulatory filing details the company's proposed Initial Public Offering (IPO), which is set to raise a substantial ₹425 crore. The overall IPO structure is bifurcated into two primary components. The first is a fresh issue of shares, aiming to garner ₹345 crore. This capital will likely be utilized by Steamhouse India for business expansion, debt reduction, or other corporate purposes, directly injecting funds into the company. The second component is an Offer For Sale (OFS) amounting to ₹80 crore. This portion involves the sale of existing shares by the company's promoter, Vishal Sanwarprasad Budhia, allowing him to divest a part of his holding without diluting the company's equity or increasing its share capital. The submission of the UDRHP I is a critical milestone, signaling the formal commencement of the regulatory review process by SEBI, which scrutinizes the prospectus to ensure compliance and transparency before approving the IPO. This move positions Steamhouse India to tap into public markets for capital, potentially fueling its future growth and consolidating its market position as a leading player in its niche.
