Toyo-India Secures Landmark EPCC Contract for BPCL Kochi Polypropylene Unit

Toyo Engineering India (Toyo-India) has secured a significant Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for a 400 KTPA polypropylene unit at BPCL’s Kochi Refinery. Scheduled for completion by Q3 FY 2027-28, this project is crucial for BPCL's petrochemical expansion strategy. Toyo Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. (Toyo-India), a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan-based Toyo Engineering Corporation, has been awarded a major Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) contract by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). This significant project involves the establishment of a 400 KTPA polypropylene unit at BPCL’s Kochi Refinery, with an anticipated completion by Q3 FY 2027–28.The contract is strategically vital for BPCL, India's second-largest public sector oil marketing company and a Fortune 500 integrated energy major.
